This is a project that my ‘Padawan’ Wes wanted to make – he came to me asking if we could make a box.
Sure, simple I thought, and in my mind I naively pictured a Twinings Tea box – (what you think I would be thinking red rose)?
You know square – rectilinear…
How wrong could I be? I should have known better – Wes was thinking something totally different…
All I could think of was Yoda – “Help you I can, yes.”
Those compound corners took a while since we had to construct a jig to cut on the band saw.
The box is made of Mahogany, Cherry and Maple.
