Thanks for stopping by!
I have been creating custom furniture for over four decades. In 1996, after my wife (Lisa) and I run out of house projects in the UK, we moved, with our two children, into a large house in Upstate New York
The house had a huge garage which immediately became the woodshop and I started collecting wood, woodworking books, tools and making furniture.
Over the years I have made and restored many items for clients, ranging from custom furniture, upcycled items, clocks, inlay work, Adams fireplaces, bookcases, reproduction furniture, wood carvings, bowls, tables and some major construction projects. At any one time I have at least 3 or 4 projects on the go. No project it too small and I welcome a chance to discuss your project.
I have also written numerous articles on woodworking and hand tools.
As a mathematician in a previous life I am constantly looking to solve puzzles and woodworking for me is a continual process of solving puzzles – or maybe that’s just the way I work…
