Wooden_Tea_BoxThis is a project that ‘Padawan’ Wes wanted to make – he came to me asking if we could make a box…  Sure, simple I thought,  and in my mind, I naively pictured a Twinings Tea box – (what you think I would be thinking red rose)?  You know rectilinear.

 

 

How wrong could I be? It’s Wes, I should have known better…

He was thinking something totally different.

Those compound corners took a while to figure out – we had to construct a jig to cut them on the band saw.

The box is made of Mahogany, Cherry and Maple.
